Brittney has been in the event band industry since 2010. She got her start at Berklee College of Music and has since performed and recorded in various major cities around the US. A lover of music and love, Brittney found her calling performing for weddings and private events.
Brittney has performed with numerous Boston-based cover bands and talent agencies over the last 15 years. When she got tired of the stereotypical song lists, chatty MC's and cheesy choreography, it was then that she branched out on her own to create and foster The Broken Heels; a non-stereotypical event band with great taste in music and a sense of professionalism that comes with a serious rock and roll twist.
Brittney spends her spare time writing original music. She gardens because she heard that's what you're supposed to do when you become an adult. She certainly does NOT play video games or eat pizza for breakfast...but she will admit that making funny faces is her favorite pasttime: see right for proof ------------------>
A force behind the drums for over 20 years and a graduate of Boston's Berklee College of Music, Seth has lent his diverse percussive abilities to performances and recordings with a wide array of bands, theater troupes, orchestras, and solo artists.
He loves playing with The Broken Heels because there's nothing better than seeing your music bring joy and make people move their feet.
When he isn't in a suit and tie rocking a wedding, Seth moonlights as a drummer in a couple of local metal bands and teaches young children to play the glockenspiel.
Francis is a versatile bassist with twenty years of performance experience both on the road and in the studio. Over the course of his career, he has shared the stage with artists across a multitude of genres and has played on over 200 albums. As a member of The Broken Heels, he loves nothing more than holding down the low end and bringing the energy from his corner in the back of the stage.
Outside of his performance career, Francis is an accomplished music educator. Not content with just graduating from Berklee once, he also received his M.Ed from Boston Conservatory at Berklee. He has since become an instructor at the Berklee Institute for Accessible Arts Education and holds faculty positions at several non-profit music schools in the Boston area.
He also flew a kite once.
Clint Degan is a lifelong performer, unabashed autodidact, and lover of the mysteries of music.
He's had the pleasure of working in a host of settings including composing for film, theater and video games, music directing (including but not limited to Yvonne Elliman & Ted Neeley, the Boston Rock Opera, and the Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra), producing and teaching.
He's most at home on the stage, where his penchant for the absurdity of rock 'n' roll is matched only by his guileless sincerity. He can be found entertaining all ages in their native environments: clubs, coffeeshops, libraries, retirement centers and puppet shows, with whatever instruments happen to be on hand. A native of the Souhegan River Valley, he currently resides in Providence, RI.
