Brittney Wells

Owner/Lead Singer/Dance-a-holic

Brittney has been in the event band industry since 2010. She got her start at Berklee College of Music and has since performed and recorded in various major cities around the US. A lover of music and love, Brittney found her calling performing for weddings and private events.

Brittney has performed with numerous Boston-based cover bands and talent agencies over the last 16 years. When she got tired of the stereotypical song lists, chatty MC's and cheesy choreography, it was then that she branched out on her own to create and foster The Broken Heels; a non-stereotypical event band with great taste in music and a sense of professionalism that comes with a serious rock and roll twist.

Brittney spends her spare time writing original music. She gardens because she heard that's what you're supposed to do when you become an adult. She certainly does NOT play video games or eat pizza for breakfast...but she will admit that making funny faces is her favorite pasttime: see pic for proof ------------------>

Seth botos

Drummer

A force behind the drums for over 20 years and a graduate of Boston's Berklee College of Music, Seth has lent his diverse percussive abilities to performances and recordings with a wide array of bands, theater troupes, orchestras, and solo artists.

He loves playing with The Broken Heels because there's nothing better than seeing your music bring joy and make people move their feet.

When he isn't in a suit and tie rocking a wedding, Seth moonlights as a drummer in a couple of local metal bands and teaches young children to play the glockenspiel.

Francis Hickey

Bassist/Music Director

Francis is a versatile bassist with twenty years of performance experience both on the road and in the studio. Over the course of his career, he has shared the stage with artists across a multitude of genres and has played on over 200 albums. As a member of The Broken Heels, he loves nothing more than holding down the low end and bringing the energy from his corner in the back of the stage.

Outside of his performance career, Francis is an accomplished music educator. Not content with just graduating from Berklee once, he also received his M.Ed from Boston Conservatory at Berklee. He has since become an instructor at the Berklee Institute for Accessible Arts Education and holds faculty positions at several non-profit music schools in the Boston area.

He also flew a kite once.

Nick Hung

Lead Guitarist

Nick is a daytime civil engineer/guitarist of the night who found his first love in 80's metal. Naturally, he went on to get his master's degree from Rock Guitar University: YouTube videos of John Sykes, Zakk Wylde, Reb Beach, etc.

Nowadays, Nick loves to rip the stage with The Broken Heels, sharing his passion for music with a lively bar crowd or wedding guests dressed to the nines. Nick also enjoys working out, reading and watching movies. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector, a Dark Knight.

Nicole nelson

Live Audio Engineer

Nicole is a Berklee College of Music graduate with a background in Music Production and Engineering. She has spent the past several years working in a wide range of settings from weddings and local venues to larger touring productions.

Nicole thrives on the spontaneous problem solving and teamwork that goes into making a performance a night to remember. She believes there's nothing more fun than getting to share that with passionate and personality-packed people like the members of The Broken Heels.

When she's not behind a mixing console, you can find her playing video games, enjoying nature, or spending time with her pet rabbit who is arguably her best friend.
